This method works if you’re trying to download a short video (from our experience, up to one minute and 30s). However, in our testing, the clips were saved as MP4s. Interestingly, once you download a video, the Android app sends a “GIF downloaded” notification at the bottom. However, it appears that you can only download recent videos, so if you’re targeting an older video, refer to the other methods in this article. On Android, the feature is more widespread. On iOS the option is named “Save Video” and seldomly appears, as Reddit restricts some videos, including those hosted on the app itself. Note that the option is not available if you’re browsing Reddit from your PC. The Reddit app ( Android | iOS) has a dedicated “Download” button that lets you save videos to your device. After pasting the report in a PasteBin page, go to the top of the page, and copy the address in the URL bar. If the log won’t post, try posting it in Pastebin and provide a link in a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor. If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. Safari doesn't load a page or webpage items are missing.Īre you running any anti - virus programs? Using a VPN? Safari - Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues. If anybody would be so kind and gave me pointers, I would be so grateful! Interestingly enough, my Safari had problems recently with other sites and their "expired certificates", but it sort itself out on its own within a few days, so the issue was most likely not on my end.(?) In Web Inspector I get "ReferenceError: Can't find variable: GlobalThis" and that Safari "was not allowed to display insecure content". Firefox also loads up the site just fine on my system - it's just either my Safari, or any Safari 11 it would seem that has problems with Reddit currently. I am using Safari 11, but I tested 12 and 13 (different Macs) on which the site works. I use only the in-built firewall - never tinkered with it. I've tried reseting Safari, disabling AdBlock (the only extension I use) to no avail. Most icons/buttons are un-clickable, there are empty boxes with supposed content, endless scroll isn't working and so on. Since a few days ago, my Safari no longer loads up (only) the Reddit site properly.
